Lennon/McCartney/Nicholas/Montague By John T. Marck On January 29, 1964, while the Beatles were in Paris, they recorded two German-language renditions of their two most recent singles, I Want To Hold Your Hand and She Loves. Most groups during this time were required to record their hits in European languages, but after recording these two songs The Beatles said never again. Like I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, in it's English translation is nothing like the original, although somewhat closer than I Want To Hold You Hand. Written in red below is the German version, followed in blue by the actual English words, then the German translation in green.
