I Want To Hold Your Hand By John T. Marck This song is that which is probably the most significant of all the songs of The Beatles, in that it was the one that made the breakthrough in America and changed the face of music forever. John& Paul wrote the song together in the Harley Street house of Jane Asher's parents. It was recorded on October 17, 1963, and was the first time The Beatles used EMI's new four-track machine. This is another of Lennon & McCartney's relationship songs. Oh Yeah I'll tell you something I think you'll understand When I say that something I want to hold your hand I want to hold your hand, I want to hold your hand Oh, please say to me you'll let me be your man And please say to me you'll let me hold your hand Not, let me hold your hand I want to hold your hand And when I touch you I feel happy inside It's such a feeling that my love I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide Yeah, you got that something I think you'll understand When I say that something I want to hold your hand, I want to hold your hand, I want to hold your hand And when I touch you I feel happy inside It's such a feeling that my love I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide Yeah, you got that something I think you'll understand When I say that something I want to hold your hand, I want to hold your hand I want to hold your hand, I want to hold your hand All lyrics & song titles contained herein by John Lennon & Paul McCartney © Copyright Northern Songs.
